I can get the HBH-600 to pair and work for voice calls, but how can I get it to play music/video sounds through the HBH-600 set?
What happens now is that the sound comes from the phone even though calls are recieved through the HBH-600.

There is no way to do that with a bluetooth headset. If you get normal SE earbuds like the ones that come with the s700 then you can listen to music and the music gets automatically paused when you recieve a call and then resumes music playback when you hang up. K700 is not much for a music player because of the limitied memory, though.

Why can't the sounds be played throught the bluetooth headset?
Also is there a firmaware upgrade to the headset?

No, at the moment there is no firmware upgrade that will enable this feature. I doubt that there will every be. The problem is that the phone doesn't have the bluetooth profile in order to stream audio to the bluetooth headset.

Are you sure it's a phone problem? On K700i, both headset and earbuds use the handsfree profile.
Wouldn't it be an issue with the headset firmware being limited to voice calls?
