K750i Camera Problem |

Hi,
I have just got my new K750i, the first day it froze so i looked about and found out that you can software upgrade the unit
I have upgraded it to R1L002
Camera Version 4.4
i find that when i try to take a picture, i press halfway and wait for the auto focus to go green, then i press it all the way down to take the picture, but instead of taking the picture it will just go back to the camera bit (before the auto focus square appears) it will do this 3-5 times in a row before i can actually take the pic.
this is really anoying as i have only had the phone 2 days and ive just finally sync'd it and got it set up perfect.
is this a software problem? or should i get the phone exchanged? |

hi Ratty
Have got exactly (well... almost) same problem. Mine after taking picture goes back to the front screen without even saving it first on the memory card. Weird... I thought that's a memory card problem but now I think that is probably software. |

R1L002 shouldn't exhibit this problem. Bring it back to the shop and see if you can get it exchanged. Test the new unit (just swap your battery over) to make sure its ok. Also you might want to test your current memory card on the new phone too.
Also, you might want to try setting the camera to save to phone memory (instead of mem card), just to see whether it exhibits the same behaviour.

i'll take it back today...
tried making it go to phone memory as ive filled the memory card with songs...
still does the same thing.
the thing is... it was completely fine before the upgrade.
fix one problem, get another one.

It sounds as if your are not holding the camera button down hard enough, press and hold it down with a bit of force and i'm sure that will solve your problem, doesn't sound like a software issue to me.
