Hey Everybody!
This is my first post. San Diego, Ca here. I've bought a k750i phone on e-bay, which came in box sealed brand new. For some reason I can't turn the phone on. When I got it I plugged the charger in charged for a while then try to turn on. It didn't let me unless I removed the battery pushed it back in then I could start it. I charged it overnight when I took it off it was only able to hold the charge for about 4 hours, even though I didn't make any calls and started off with a full charge. After it died I plugged the charger on the red light comes on on top, but it doesn't displeay charging, and I'm not able to turn on the phone at all. I checked the voltage output on the charger, which is about 5 Volts. And on the battery which is 0. So I'm thinking its a bad battery, but I can't be sure since I never had the phone, and don't even know what the red light indicates on the top of the phone. My question is that would the phone turn on without the battery insterted, or would the phone turn on with the battery in, but no charge in it at all. Any help would be appriciated, I loved the phone for that 3 hours I could use it. Thanks again!

Hi george78, welcome to Esato.

It sure looks like you're got a bad battery. The red light on the top of the phone only comes on when the battery is very low.

My K750i won't turn on as such without a battery. The screen flashes white once in a while then just goes off again.

It is possible that the battery is okay, but the phone can't charge the battery. I hope this isn't the case as it suggests bad phone (back to SE) rather than bad battery (easier to replace). I assume your ebay seller doesn't want to know after the sale?
