Anyway- for VDO compress using Xvid, QuickTime AAC and the trusted Virtualdub/ nandub helps. For Audio- You would find a S/ware called 'Cdex' really simple (around a Meg to download) . Have the BladeEnc codecs and the Vorbis codecs. Now laugh your way to good audio at lesser Bitrate in various formats. I suggest, Ogg Vorbis as its a non Patented Technology..
