Phone self "reboot" |

I'm having troubles with my T65. It seems to "reboot" by itself when (on certain times only) there is an incoming call. The phone shuts down and boots up again and stops at the "Enter PIN" screen. What can be the reason for this. I have the latest firmware R5A010 on the phone. I've watched the phone, and it seems that this happens when only a certain person tries to phone me, unfortunately it happens to be my boss. I've deleted his entry in the phonebook and re-created it. Anyone out there having the same problems? This is a real problem, because I have to constantly check my phone to see if it's still okay. PLEASE HELP.
(I had a T28 when they came out, and had the same problem, although it did this by itself, without someone calling me...but they (then just Ericsson) said it was because of a dry joint on the PC boards...and it got sorted out in later models.)

My t68 does that often, only when i sit and have it in my pocket.
At the begining i thought that the No button getting pressed for a long time, but i notice that it doesn't give my the MS style "please wait" window after i start it back. the only difference is that may times i find it off,

hp??
OK, it's normal then - but why? I never experienced this with my R320 or R380's. It's like telling me my car is going to switch itself off and then restart itself whilst I'm driving.

have you tested doing a master reset after it was upgraded to R5A010? that might help a bit... |

I've tried it (the 10 secs. press of the NO button), but do you do it whilst it's switched ON or OFF? Is there suppose to be any indication than the phone has been reset - like a 'beep' or something? The only time I've noticed it working, was when the phone freezed, and I pressed the NO button for 10 secs. I usually just enter the PIN again when it asks for it. I've also noticed, that once that happens and I enter the PIN again, some functions on the phone is not responding as they should.

I didn't mean that reset... meant the Master reset under the Settings menu... |

Ok, I found it. Do I use the 'Reset Settings' option, or the 'Reset All'. What's the code? ...and what information will I loose?

it can work with just "Reset settings" but I recommend you do the "Reset all"... all things you have saved in your phone, including pictures, phonebook, wap bookmarks etc will be deleted when doing a "reset all", so a backup is useful if you don't want to loose anything
The default phone lock code on Ericsson phones are 0000 (four zeros) |
