sorry i haven't been around much lately, but life just fell apart for me and im just now getting it together.....so hi to everyone who i know. this is what has happend i have 2 phone lines w/ my t-mobile account and one of the phone is gone. the other is "my baby", my SE K700i. now i have to upgrade to get a new phone for the other line for my boyfriend. this is what i was thinking....i'd get the Treo 600 and give him the K700i. BAD CHOICE! So now i'm going to try out the Moto Razor instead. but then i was thinking that i'm having SE withdrawls. I hecka love my k700i, more than anything, except my car. so does anyone have any reallllly good first hand experience and advice about the Moto Razor?
i can fix it, so dont worry it's not broke. |

I am not a fan of the RAZR. I don't really care about how thin it is, and you pretty much have to really like thin in order to get over the Moto UI in my opinion.
I would rather use my old T616 than a RAZR. Overall size it is actually smaller and I think it looks just as good if not better. Besides, I really don't like flip phones.
Maybe mine isn't a very good opinion to listen to.
(by the way, you have to be from Northern California. Bay area even.)

I love the formfactor of the Razr and it's fun that you can fiddle/customize so much with the software. But the thing that made me not want it was the fact that you got so very litle memory and no way of increasing it. How fun is it to be able to use mp3 if you can only fit one or two. Also the camera is pretty inferior to todays phones with cameras. If the razr had place for a memory card and better camera then i'd get it.

well i like the form factor, and it is very classy, well built, second to noone, but the drawbacks are, its memory and its response is poor, especially if u r a big fan of SMS features!!! u wont like typing on RAZR for its slow response, and the buttons wear out as the time goes by with heavy SMS, trus me on this |

Having just moved from a k750 to the Razr, here is my opinion.
If it's features, like most people, then the Sony K750.
However I got bored having 100's of mp3's, ringtones, video clips, episodes etc and wanted something different.
The Razr is perfect for me and for people who do not need excessive features on their phone. The UI is fine and fast, very large screen which is crystal clear, and the feel of the phone in your hand is excellent. The call quality is the best so far, and surely thats what matters |

everyone keeps saying the build quality is so excellent, but I somewhat disagree. On all of the RAZRs I have seen, panels don't match. I mean on my mom's the battery cover is a more matte finish than the rest of the phone. On another friends, the bulky section at the bottom under the keypad is a slightly different color. They all seem to have one or two panels that are slightly off in color
If they couldn't keep all the parts matching, they should have gone for a different look.
@angelwhorns its how you talk. Nobody talks like that unless they are from NorCal.
