Does the w800 have any of the problems that were experienced in the k750i? Such as freezing etc? Or has the filmware that the w800 been launched on, been good so far without any major bugs??

i had mine for aprox 10 days, and had 2 problems, that required me to leave the phone with a service place.
1:st. The phone had really bad receiving signal, and lost it a copuple of times. Result i was hard to reach, and lost calls when talking. After 2-3 days, it lost signal copmpletely, and coule not find any network. Left if at the serviceplace.
They changed some part, and resoldered something. Some ASIC.
Now i had it for 2 days, and again. PROBLEM.
so, 2:nd. The phone turned itself off, and restarted, but the screen was all white for about 5 sec. then turned itself off, and restarted again, and again all white for 5 sec.. it repeadetly does this, whithout any luck. has been doing it for the last 2 hours. The only way to stop it is to remove the battery, and put it back.. I cannot get it running. Have to leave it at the serviceplace on monday.
Else, the phone is really nice, nice functions, nice camera, and really good design.. but when it comes to functioning... |

No problems once the Orange branding was removed. Everything is fine and enjoying the phone more than the others I had.

Have been using for 3 weeks, no problem or whatsoever, except of a lil bug related to chinese symbol which isn't a big deal. |

Haha, this is begining to get really funny.
2 more problems..
I got it back from the second service, and when i turned it on in the car on my way home, the display did not work at all. After a couple if minutes, it started to play music without me doing anything with it.
i got a little bit angry, turned back, and went in to the service place.. threw the phone up on the counter and said that it was not fixed.. so they took care of it right away. After around 20 minutes of waiting, i got my phone back. It was now working.
2 days later. The display is now completely dead! How bad could it be? owning the phone for 3 weeks, using it for 4 days.. It is completely bad!
Dont even know if i want a new one... |
