Today’s mobile phones all have the feature to attach a picture to the saved contacts which will be shown while these contacts are calling you. But if somebody calls which isn’t saved in your mobile phone or hasn’t an attached picture to his saved contact, nothing but the number is shown.
What would you think about a feature which lets YOU choose what picture is shown on the recipient’s mobile phone when you are calling (especially when your number is not saved in the recipient’s phone) ? For example when doing a business call you could choose your company’s logo, or for urgent / emergency calls you could choose an animated picture showing a police car with its blue and red lights turning (and maybe even with sirene sound).
In my opinion this would personalize your calls a little more, and you would be able to surprise the people who you are calling with pictures they didn’t knew yet.

Would be nice but manufactuers cannot even agree on a protocol for smillies so doubt we would ever see something as complex as this. Could not see it as a problem if was for example SE calling another SE or a Nokia calling a Nokia. |
