k750 update help, hopefully a simple solution |

im having trouble with my sony update service and i get to the part where i reconnect my phone and i need to install the drivers. at first i had the sony cd in the drive and it installed them automatically but i dont think they were the correct ones as the process did not start.
now i have the correct drivers but everytime i plug the phone back in to install the drivers, the found new hardware box wont pop up anymore so that i can select the correct drivers.
is there anyway i can get the box to pop up again so that i can select the correct drivers to use because currently it just recognises it, which is what i dont want it to do.
help would be greatly appreciated

anyone have a solution? will uninstalling both pc suite and update srvice remove the laptops ability to recognise the phone? what must i do? |

Hey, remember that for that update you ALSO need to install the update drivers which are NOT on the CD itself, but on the sonyericsson website. Install those first and then retry the updating.

hmmm... there must be a wizard on windows
somewhere to help you find the driver, or you
can try and search for it.

start
control panel
category view
printers and other hardware
