Embed 3GPP into Powerpoint? Any solution? |

Hi,
I would like to embed a 3GP file in my PowerPoint presentation - embedded in a way that it plays inside the presentation but not triggered by an action button which launches an external player.
How can I achieve this?
Thanks! |

You can do this on a Mac with PowerPoint and Apple QuickTime very easily...
You just import the 3gpp file as any other Movie and it plays as any other movie would using QuickTime.
Does PowerPoint on the PC allow you to use QuickTime movies?

Mea culpa, I should have said i use a PC with Win2K / XP ...
And one more thing:
For Office 2000, .3GP or .3GPP unfortunately is *NOT* recognized as a valid extension when doing "Insert" -> "Movies and Sounds" -> "from file...".
How can i evtl. patch this?
When I look into my file system, .3GP files have the Quicktime icon attached to it, and when clicking onto them, they start (and play) properly with Quicktime.
Thanks for any help here!
