well, playing with the *#05# code on my t65 i blocked my puk (with though?)
anyway,

can i somehow (or a service senter) give me a new puk?
i can do nothing, and vodafone (in greece) tells me to buy a new sim (that's 15+ €)
anybody?

If we do the same thing on the T68, we just have to answer "NO" when the phone ask for the PUK... and it goes back to normal...!
But for the T65... I don't know...!

As far as I know, Once you have Blocked the PUK, you have to get a new Sim Card.

block the PUK (enter it wrongly 3 times)....ull need a new phone & sim

let me get this straight, that *05# thing can really get ur sim to be BLOCKED??? i thought it was only some sort of a fake PUK!!!

You can get a PUK unblocking code from your operator.

yeah thats wot i thought, ring up ur operator and u shud get a puk code to enter, u wont need a new fone or sim hopefully.

Or have you blocked you PUK code. Because if you have you will need a new phone and Sim Card.

But if you have Blocked your PIN then phone Vodafone up and then they will give you a 10 number code that is for your sim card, which will unlock your sim.

It wont destroy the phone... The Puk-code is just for the simcard...

I was mucking around with my T68 a few days ago and it was asking me for my PUK code all i did was phone up customer services of my service provider and they gave me the code down the phone to type in.
Its all ok now no new sim or phone.

You will only need a new Sim Card if you type in the PUK unblocking code in 10 times.
