Is it possible to download an mp3 attachment from an email on k700i?
I have just saved a 2MB mp3 on my phone from an email I received. The phone placed it into the "other" folder in file manager. The music file name extension ends with .mp3 however, the phone says that the file type is: mp ???
So the obvious question here being...is it possible to get the phone to recognize it as a music file or is it pretty much a lost cause?

I juz tested this wiv my k700,no problems tho,and it was saved in Sounds, maybe ur mp3 file is corrupt?,if u have a computer, try sending it to that and convert it wiv dbpower or something, that shud fix it for when u send it back to ur phone, hope that helps or even made any sense whatsoever
If nobody wants it.. put it on eBay. |

thanx for the reply & yeah it looks as though the mp3 may be corrupt even though I can't see exactly why. The mp3 plays just fine on my pc thru win media player. The file appears correctly too (MPEG Audio Layer-3 @192Kbps), but for some reason when I email it to the phone, it saves it as a .mp file rather than .mp3 file, basically making it as useless as an ashtray on a bike.
Anyways, I will try emailing a few different mp3's and see if that works. |
