Is there a way to delete those to free up more memory? My understanding is that there isn't one but you guys may know something I don't.

It's possible in T68i, and I think it was possible in my old T68m also..

I too have the T68m(i) and have deleted all those B/W pics right after I got the upgrade. Think it was just to delete them normally, like you do with the other pics.

Deleting all the black and white pictures frees up only 4 k of memory. Just keep it because you can insert it in regular SMS messages unlike the colored ones.

Just press the "C" button while viewing those black and white images in the image viewer, or press "Option" and select delete.

These WBMP images are small as they are used for EMS, you can make your own with the "Draw Picture" option if you don't like the default ones.

I have a t68m and you cant delete them. Its pretty wierd that you can edit them but not delete them!!!! But wats more wierd in the m is that you can store only one background image!

You have to upgrade your phone to the "i" version if you want to store more pictures.
