I woke up this morning and reached over to the bedside cabinet to turn on my phone and when I turned it on, there was a bluey green sort of tint to the colours on screen and even the keypad LEDs were blue. I turned it off and back on, still the same. I tried changing the theme and it seemed fine but the tint was still there but not as strong. The tint seemed to fade slightly when I ran the service tests on the screen but was still there.

I noticed the theme I was using before was on the memory stick so I moved it over to the phone and changed back. Tint was just as strong to start with. I turned it off and left it for the afternoon till I could get home to back it up and reset it but when I turned it on later in the afternoon, the screen was fine again.

It's been alright since but still pretty weird. Any ideas what could have caused this? Just curious not that it's a problem now.

@KrisUK

Most likely there's something wrong with your LCD display. Even though it might seem fine now, I think you should hand it in for service. They will probably exchange the LCD display for you, or give you a new phone.

I believe you

Strange but.

LED's are doped to give them their colour, so it's unlikely that the leds are changing colour. What's more likely is that it's a faulty LCD, or perhaps the LCD backlight, that is turning everything blue and reflecting onto the keypad leds as well.

I'd definitely get it checked out.

Maybe the light....

I remember in dusk conditions, my k700 screen looked very yellow.
