K750i "3" button dies... temporarily |

So I pulled out my trusty K750i to send an sms in a lecture earlier today, and all of a sudden I can't seem to type any letters on the 3 key (d, e, f)...
I exited the sms, tried from standby - no response on the "3" button at all. Turned off the phone, removed the battery, rebooted and went into service menu to check the keypad, and sure enough it doesn't respond there either, no matter how hard i press. (All other keys worked fine)
Obviously I was *quite* disgruntled.. spent the next hour or so of the lecture trying to pry the 3 key up and see if it wasn't quite making contact (it didn't seem to be out of place and was still clicking normally) and FINALLY, after endless fiddling and poking around with a pen (I probably should have waited until i got home to use a slightly better tool but i was impatient  ), it responds again and hasn't played up since. But now, since my phone's only a few weeks old and i've never dropped it/accidentally hit the keypad/done any damage to it, I'm very worried about the durability of the keypad 
Anyone had similar problems? (I did notice a post where a couple of someone's buttons had fallen off completely but no matter how hard I pried with a pen I couldn't get my 3 key off the phone at all, I think mine are superglued down )

i m now using the k750 for 1 months and no problems so far, but i did have a similar problem with my previous k700,although it happened only once
Turned out some dust and moisture problem, easily fixable
I think same is in ur case, so not much 2 worry abt.........at worst, it can be a carbonised contact, which se can get cleaned for free
