Ok, so my phone upgrade is due in Septomber 2005 so what do I upgrade to??

I've been using the V800 since it's UK launch in Nov 2004, and I use SEUS to upgrade the firmware.

I could go for the K750/W800 but what is Sony Ericsson's next 3G phone phone after the V800/Z800 and V600/K600???

The Sharp 903 looks like it could be interesting but I don't want to switch away from SE. Maybe I should just keep on using the V800.

There is nothing announced yet. I doubt that there will be anything before the end of the year.

The sharp 903 is indeed very nice. Be open minded and look around. I had samsung ,motorola ,alcatel ,ericsson and now nokia.I might try a se too if they build a wifi/edge/3g phone before the end of the year.I like to phone for dirt cheap on wifi without using any sim card.Looks and name don't bother me as long as the functions are ok.Most of the time I keep the thing in my poked anyway ! (Unlike some people wearing the cells strapped around their necks) greetings from South Africa. Mario.

The problem with Sharp phones are the poor menus. The'yre great for camera and screen but menu layout is very old, unflexible and ancient.

Plus I've also invested in a high capacity Memory Stick which is another reason to stay with Sony Ericsson.

An upgrade to a K750i/W800 just doesn't sound like a big enough step up for me.

September is around the corner and SE should announce another 3G phone just above the Z800.

Two high-end phone are to be announced soon by , and should, all being well, be available early 2006.

So Ninja Dom, buy a W800i then sell it and put the proceeds into your S850i or P950i fund because when these are announced your going to want one for definite.

@amnesia. The K600 is my next. I don't know what people have against 3G. I just look on it as an extra feature on the phone. Plus 3G services are free for a whole year on Orange at the moment? Can't wait.

The K608/V600 is a downgrade from using the V800.

The V800 is a higher spec but older phone.

Lack of Memory Stick is a very big problem and the camera is no improvement on the V800 camera. Needs to be as good as the K750/W800 camera.

The Sharp 903 was released in Vodafone stores in the UK TODAY!!!

@786KBR.

Probably true, however I think all that is about to change.

With the K600/V600/K608 being released I think the pressure is now on for manufacturers to start reducing the size of their 3G handsets.

It will back to the good old days when smaller is better (hooray ).

I was looking out of my window at home today and there was a person on the street, with can only be described as the largest clamshell known to mankind, clamped to the side of his face. I swear it was the same length as his skull.

It looked ridiculous, honestly. I felt sorry for him.

BUT...... Imagine a 3G K750i. Phwoooaaaaaar!
