every time i check for for possible bluejack victims when i'm in crowded places and succeed in connecting to another phone to send my message ,the name of that phone keeps coming up in every next search i do even if i'm in a totally different place and keeps coming up until "JACK" another phone ??????

go to - connectivity - bluetooth - my devices, then just delete the devices you dont want anymore!!!

My phone got trashed because of a bluetooth connection which i accepted. Be careful...

Thats because the Nokia S60 phones can get viruses where se phones havent had any problems with them yet. |

On my S700 (and I think K750 OS isn't any different) I usually had a reboot to get over it. But I think after quiet some time if one does a "Refresh" on the BT screen or try sending 'em a msg. then the non existing entry goes..
So ALL you good fellas telling UIQ is safe from "Kabir" (very recent Re release) ? Coz I keep my P910 connected to the Akono handsfree all the time !!

Are you trying to get rid of all the devices you've paired with or b/jacked?? And now evertime you search with b/tooth u still picking up all those other devices right??
Then go to connectivity - bluetooth - my devices then delete all the names!! |

Come on people, listen to him and understand what hes saying.
Hes saying everytime he starts searching again, the last phone he bluejacked remains on his screen. This isnt a bug, or a problem, SE give their phones a memory of the last device connected. SE gave the phones this ability to avoid having to search again. So, for example if you're sending your friend multiple files you dont have to search for their phone for every item you send.
To clear it, either bluejack another phone (and the phone will be replaced with the next last phone you connected to), reboot the phone, or simply hit refresh to hide it. Every following search the phone wont be displayed - its only shown on the first search, unless you press back instead of refresh.
I cant believe how many people have posted in this thread and got the answer so completely wrong. And you call yourselves SE fans.

If i paired with a D500 it will always show that name, even if im in another country!!!! so again, go to connectivity, then b/tooth, then my devices then delete the ones u dont want!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

People who bluejack dont pair with other phones.
They're completely different situations.

But like i already explained, that is because SE phones remember the last device they connected to, whether paired or not.
