Hey guys!

My experience with phones started back with the t610. Got the phone a few years back when it first came out, had it for a year and then upgraded to the p800. The phone was great and loved everything about it.... except the fact that i could only have a 128mb card in it

When i heard about the new k750i that was coming out i kept checking up on the release dates and specs and when i found out that it could hold duo i was well on my way to recieving a new phone. Luckily when the k750i came out i was due another upgrade so i quickly called and recieved the beautiful k750i. I fell in love with the phone, listening to my mp3's on the way to work, using the great 2mb camera and all of the other great functions that the slique and trendy phone had.

Until one day when i got out of work i walked to meet some friends, we jumped in a cab and went back to my flat. When we got into the flat we had a few drinks while i got ready to go out, i walked back into the kitchen when my friend asked if i got his text message.... i simply replied no, havent checked my phone . I continued getting ready and then eventually when we went to leave the flat about 30mins later i couldn't find my phone. I knew i had it getting into the taxi since i had called my friends at the taxi rank. I couldnt find the phone in the flat, so i called the taxi company and since it was just a black cab i got into they couldn't trace the driver . I didnt have insurance on the phone so i couldnt claim for it.......that was the last time i remember having my favourite phone of all time......until now!

I was in town on thursday looking for some new phones, when i walked into phones4u. An old friend from school works there so i popped in and said hello, i saw that the w800 was there, i asked about it and they said it was due tomorrow, my facial expression changed from being sad about loosing my k750i and using a crappy nokia!! to . I sat down and discussed taking out a new contract, gave over my cards and bank statements etc only for them to say because i've signed my card using a felt tip marker they can't use the card. I've moved recently too and the address on my driving licence is my parents address so the bank statements and what not werent the same, luckily i had a credit card statement but they wouldn't accept that due to no transactions being on it. I felt my luck suddenly decrease. My friend told me that if i have my passport then i would get the phone no bother, and she would give it free of charge on my tarriff (o2 leisure time all). I couldn't and cant find my passport to this day.

I went to work on friday thinking about the w800 and what a great phone it would be to have so when i finished work i went into the o2 store. Told the guy i wanted the w800 on my tarriff, he said i would have to pay for the phone, i told him i could get free of charge from phones4u. He said he would give me the phone for free only if i took insurance, i said that was fine. He took my card details fine and i walked out with a brand new w800 on the day it was released.

So now im the proud owner of the w800.

Sorry for the length of my story

Awww. I enjoyed reading that .

Congratulations on your new phone.

I don't think you will regret taking out insurance either! I have only ever lost one phone and I was devastated!

What will you do if your K750 turns up?
