can i receive pop3 mails on mobile without full web gprs? |

hi guys, i am from jaipur(rajasthan).i use nokia 7610 with hutch postpaid.can i get my pop3/imap4 emails on my handset through gprs without activating the full internet access?if not than are there any email clients for mobile on which i can get access through port 9401 please tell me. |

Hi. Welcome. If all you have is WAP access, you can use http://wap2mail.com or http://web2mail.com/wap to access your POP mail account.

@rohit...you need full gprs to access pop3 mail through the phones internal email client. But if have just wap access, you can use Aya's suggestion...hope that answers your question

Actualy you cant download attatchments at wap.Mail2web il post some sites here when i get home theyre on my other phne

heres 3 sites you cn download your attatcmnts by wap http://www.labi.hu/pop3/ http://gateway.oceanlake.com/mail2web.com http://txt3.com at txt3 you have to pay 10 uk pounds to use pop3 functions for a year but its the best its got online storage attatchmnt folders you can add attatchments when sending emails

The correct link is http://mail2web.com/wap or simply http://mail2wap.com. I checcked both just now, and these are correct and working.

@aya you cant downoad attatchments on the mail2web wap site http://wap.mail2web.com only the web version allows you to do this you need an appropiate phone that allows you to go the web or alternatively get that via oceanlake with the link i gave |

Theoriginal poster did not specify that he needed that functionaility, so I simply gave him what I had. If he does need to be able to download attachments, oh well.....
