Has anyone else had this problem with a T68i? Whenever I turn my phone off and back on again, I lose ALL of my internet settings, but everything else remains the same (phone book entries etc).

I am pulling my hair out with this, I can't figure out why this is happening.?!?! Anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it?!?!? Any help appreciated.

Thanks

The only thing I can suggest is that the White Paper for the T68i states that Factory pre-configuration allows WAP/CSD possibility to lock to a setting - basically when you refresh your phone by switching it off then on, the locked settings are re-initialised and any settings you have entered may be lost.

Not exactly useful, but it's an explaination.

Sex is like hacking. You get in, you get out, and you hope you didn't leave something behind that can be traced back to you

My phone is completely unlocked and sim free. It seems that this may have happened when I did a master reset. It is absolutely insane that the default would be not to remember internet settings.

I have heard of this happening to people before. If anyone has successfully rectified the problem, please please let me know. I can't gothrough life not being able to turn my phone off!

Thanks

@orang3
Yep, all screens do this. It's a very old technology used for the screens for the T68

My phone forgets theses settings too. I phoned Orange and they told me it's a software problem (I had it updated from a t68m) and that there is no fix. They rekon the next software release in a few weeks time will fix it. Really crap ain't it!?!?
