Hi,

I just got my new Sony Erisccon K600i. First of all I have tried to sync it with my Apple PowerBook and iSync. But it isn't supported yet.

I have searched in the internet a little bit, but haven't found a way to get it to work with iSync.

Is there a chance to sync at least the address book between my PowerBook an the K600i?

Thanks in advance

Check out my web-page: http://mobile.feisar.com/ which has an iSync phoneplugin for the K600.

Also, the same site should help with Address Book compatibility.

If you want a quick way to get your contacts onto your SE phone, just select them in Address Book and drag them to the desktop to create a .vcf file. Then send this file to the phone via Bluetooth. You may have to change the vCard format to v2.1 in Address Book preferences first.

Hi,
Same problem than wernerk between a new SE K600i and my 17" PB under 10.3.9.
I can exchange files and control my PB via BT. But I can't iSync.
Working web links seem to refer to 10.4, is there any tested hint for 10.3.9/iSync 1.5 ?

I've not seen any working solutions for 10.3.9, but have a look at the info on this page: http://lindmark.net/technical/osx/isync-k750i

which may help you getting your phone to work using the same methods.

BTW, that site appears to be down at the moment for me. It was working...

I've reproduced the info from that site on my web-site, in the Hints & Tips section. Take a look...

Hi Werner!
I was lucky when I checked out a V600i and it did not work with OS X 10.4, but my orginal SE K600i worked with iSync fine!!!
My K600i has the following software: R2G001
My powerbook works on 10.4.2 Tiger
