i have had my k750i on o2 online for around 2 months now, and have r1L002 firmware, and just recently have been recieving txt msgs way after the person has sent it, yet the phone says that the msg has just been sent, i.e the time stamp on the msg would b as if it has just been sent, i know o2 had problems with their k700i last year and this problem, was just wanting to know if any other k750i users were experienceing this problem also

I'm having the same problem but with my V3 so I think the problems more to do with the network than your phone

it's the o2 messaging system. now i dont know any of the exact technical details but when i had the problem with my k700i i eventualy got the following reply from an o2 call centre manager: basically he said that the problem is o2's messaging system is very old and outdated, so old that phone manufacturers (so far mainly sony ericsson) are no longer testing that their phones are fully compatible with this type of messaging system as they are assuming no networks still use them!!! he did say o2 had plans to introduce a new system in the not to distant future (however long that is - remmember it is nearly 6 months ago i heard this!) so unfortunately the only answer appears to be A) put up with it, or B) move networks! although after the amount of bullsh*t i have been fed from o2 staff i take everything they say with a pinch of salt! so wether or not this is 100% i cannot say!

As I work in the network centre (not on sms systems though) I speak to some of the guys who work on the equipment and they are not aware of any upgrades going on in the near or distant future.

Its typical o2 tactics, bury their heads in the sand and pretend there's not a problem and fob everyone off with excuses!
