OK i've had my K750i about a month now and the joystick is getting beyond a joke, the thing doesn't respond as good as it used too, i hardly even use the phone so i dont know how it can be like this,
Is there any suggestions to wether i can fix this problem, Its when i press the joystick down it doesn't respond, other ways are fine (up/left/right) this is really annoying me, can i buy a replacement or something?

Dont try to open your phone unless you are an expert it may damage it. Get it to a service center. You can get it repaired 4 nothing if its under warranty period

I've already opened the phone myself to put the W800i Housing on, so i'm buggered for warranty. |

Yeah you can buy a replacement from mobilefun.co.uk for around £3.
Its probably just a build up of dust though as the same thing has happened to mine. |

Buying a new joystick will not solve the problem. You have to remove the casing and pull the joystick off. Clean off any dirt you can see. Thats about all you can do without bringing it back to a service centre.

I think it might be the actual chip(what ever you call it) under the joystick? |

Yep, thats the cause of the problem, there is a thin piece of metal underneath the joystick and this can either get dirty or completely worn away. Either of the two can stop it from functioning properly. Its covered under warranty anyway. I'd say your going to have to put the original K750i casing back on first though.
