Hi,

I am experiencing a problem with my J300i and K750i in which it takes the phone a lot of time to regain network after being in a no reception zone (e.g. elevator).

Did someone experience this type of behaviour?

I know it happens to me too.U have to search the network manually or switch it off/on if u want ur network faster.I suspect the SE's are searching for the network slower in order to economize energy.

Thanks. thought I was alone with this issue.

Are you experiencing it on J300i ?

Is this a known issue. sounds crazy to me. so SE thinks I should check my phone every time I get out of an elevator?

They're designed that way to help maximize battery life. My old Panasonic had a pretty good battery life when it was kept in high signal areas but if it was in low signal areas, the battery life was more than halfed.

1st option is to turn off the phone & then turn it on ...
2nd is to wait for some time untill the reception is back to normal ...

How long does it take to find the network signal? I haven't had that problem.
And anyway, usually after I get out of the subway I just press the return key and apparently that makes the phone "react"
