Check the connectors on the headset - also the phone - doesnt take much to disrupt the connection - I have already destroyed the charger that came with the phone as one of the pins bent then broke. Fantastic phone , useless charging interface |

that doesnt seem to be the problem, headphones r new and unused, everything looks ok and in place. i think it may be faulty headphones, i dunno!! |

not sure mat386, mine was also a bit funny when i first plugged it in - wouldn't come up with handsfree profile - therefore no radio - untill I had tried it a few times. That is a good point though - when you plug the headset in - does it change to handsfree profile? If it does - possibly a headset problem, if not - I would suggest a connection problem |

when i plug it in, the phone does not seem to register that it is there, nothing happens at all!! think it may be faulty headphones |

Matt, keep trying - untill the phone realises there is a handsfree connection - you will not get radio. i am pretty sure there is a connection issue here - possibly a coating on the SE interface (as you say all the pins look fine).. sorry, all i can think of |

If your earphones work with media player (i.e. you can hear sound from both sides while playing media player) then your earphones and the connections are OK so your radio should work fine.
resistance is futile. |
