Keeping GPRS connection always on |

Hello pplz,
I would like to inquire on such subject: I have a Yamigo account for chatting (obviously). So the thing that worries me is that GPRS connection keeps disconnecting as soon as I send a message. It does not bother me actually, it can disconnect anytime it wishes, but my concern is my balance. I mean that chatting does not take that much of GPRS traffic, but having my operator rounding the traffic of each connection to 10K it reaches to quite high values.
So my question after all of the above is: could it be possible to keep the stupid GPRS connection (I mean the globe, not the blue triangle) on at all times, so that rounding will not round that much.
'd appreciate any hints...
Thanks

did you check your internet accounts under control panel.
There are 3 options which :-
1.dial up timeout
2.gprs timeout
3 preffered mode
just put the gprs timeout to NEVER
I hope this will help up

Thanks, hyperken. I guess I forgot to mention the model of my phone. It is K500i, without any "control panel" and "GPRS timeout" settings.
Thanks anyway
