You all probably know how to do this, but just in case. When the nk6230 was released, I got it and it had an option to check e-mail via pop. Because O2 don’t allow/support sockets, you couldn’t use applications to connect to e.g. MSN Messenger, so I thought it wouldn’t work. Anyways f’d around with it and finally got it to work, even though it’s a shame that they charging for GPRS. Apparently people who were on O2 PAYG before 1st April/June/July (can’t remember which) have to ring a number to get there free 1mb allowance (alongside your 300 txt messages). I don’t know the number but I’ll let you know. By the way, you can’t check pop email from another service lol. Anyways these are the settings I’ve used for E-mail (Anything in brackets is just information):
Mailbox name: (wateva u want)
E-mail address: xxx@o2.co.uk (replace xxx with ur username lol)
My Name: (enter anything u want, this is the name sent on outgoing mail)
Outgoing (SMTP) server: smtp.o2.co.uk
Incoming server: POP3
Incoming (POP3) server: mail.o2.co.uk
