Hi guys......trying to purchase sonyericsson w800i. But the damn price seems outragerous. simoncells selling it for $639 and cellhut selling it for $559. I want this phone so badly cuz it got upto 30 mp3 player. it's like a walkman with cellphone. |

hey rogers, the reason why sonyericsson w800i is so expensive is because it just came out and has upto 30 hour mp3 player. I bought mine for $528 from ExoticPhone.com. don't know if this is good enough for you. |

Yes I agree considering that the estimated price is approx. $550. However since a few ppl have bought it at launch time in UK we wud get a rough idea about the price now.

Also i dont know why the first poster was buying the phone from simoncells for when he himself had found a cheaper option.???

SonyStyle stores in the US sell them now. I bought mine at the one in San Diego (Fashion Valley Mall) but they may not have anymore in stock at some locations.. |

Buying a new phone? Does your service provider carry it?
When buying a new phone that your carrier doesn't have, make sure it is UNBRANDED as well as UNLOCKED.
I purchased K750 from simoncells.com who assured be it was both. When I recieved it, it was branded to Vodafone, a British service provider. The branding is causing all sorts of conflicts with Cingular service: features i'm paying for won't work because my phone tries to link with Vodafone.
Vodafone, SEUS and SE service center have been no help.
Currently going round and round with simoncells; lotsa talk and apologies but no help so far.
Does anyone have any experience with davinci or any of the other "unbranding / reflashing" services? |
