Flash on Z800i?

UnholySinner Joined: Apr 03, 2005 Posts: 122 From: Wales PM	Posted: 2005-08-10 15:51 Hey all. just browsing through flash animations on the net other day and came across quite a funny one and really want it on my phone seeing as i have read the Z800i supports flash files and plays them. I have the sunnybeach.swf so i know my phone will play them so i downloaded this flash animation off the web site with this programme i found and i put it on my memory card in my phone. I went to open it and all that came up was the phone's internet browser and thats it. It was just blank! Is there a way of getting it to play?? Any suggestions?? elperro Joined: Mar 24, 2005 Posts: 70 From: farnham, uk PM, WWW	Posted: 2005-08-10 17:00 Its published as Flash 6, the only player available for phones at the moment is Flash Lite which is based on a Flash Player 4 profile. So it wont play for that reason. Although that said it could easily be ported to be Flash Lite compatible (z800 compatible) Some phones also have a swf file size limit, but I think the z800 maybe ok on that front. It is however a pretty big file for the flash lite player, if someone were to port it that would have to come down quite a bit for it to play back ok. cheers Nick
