No it will not work, in the S700 you can only have Memorystick DUO. So the limit is 128 mb :/

Hi,

Welcome to Esato!!!

I don't this the above answer is correct, I don't know/own that phone, but you should know that you can of course get memory stick duos greater than 128mb (the brand is irrelevant). As long as your phone can use "Pro" sticks then 1GB card is fine - I would check the specs online or email SE. or simply use the search in esato.

Hope that helps

Corez is quite correct. The S700i only supports memory stick DUO's upto 128mb, not MS duo pro.

@jon....Im afraid, the S700 only supports Memory Stick Duos....not Pro Duos.....which means that the maximum possible external memory it can support is 128 MB ...Same is the case with the P800 & P900, although it is possible to achieve Pro Duo support on a P900 through...ahem....a software upgrade

Hope that clears the doubt

Ahh, I thought that pro's were compatable (I didnt know), and thought that he was just asking whether sandisk MS were compatable compared to Sony ones.

Officially it can only support up to 128mb ms duo. There has been alot of talk about how it might be a hardware limitation. I have my doubts about this theory though. My question is, if it is possible to upgrade the P900 to support ms pro duo then why not the S700?

Yup.....it is most definitely possible.....by flashing the p900 with p910 firmware....what you achieve is something called a p905, which supports MS duo pro
