Setting up your own "My Friends"-server (IMPS) |

I recently registered at Yamigo to try it out and I must say that I am impressed, very nice feature.
Now to my question,
does anyone know of any server software, allowing me to run my own IMPS server at home? I've tried googling it, but there's just too much to browse through.
I think it would be neat to set your own server up, and then give your friends access to it, and maybe (just maybe) integrate msn or icq into it. This way you can configure things the way you want it, and in my case, the service would be more reliable/available.
Thank ya'll!
