A friend of mine is looking to switch his Reliance Motorola C131 to a Nokia 3205 CDMA, but is not sure about where to buy it from. I enquired at a local Reliance WebWorld where I was told that the model has been discontinued, but it cost something between 9 and 10k. I went to a third-party dealer, who offered me a lower rate of 8k. Now I basically just want to know if there's any place in town that can top the rate that I have. I'm going to go to Heera Panna and Manish Market this week, so any other suggestions are welcome.

Thanks.

Oops! Sorry, I meant the Nokia 3205, which is the CDMA version of the GSM Nokia 3200. Yes, the 3200 is available under 6k, which is why I want to know if the 3205 is also available for around the same price...

Its not worth buying at that price. Call nokia toll free number 30383038/30303838.. (I am not sure but it may be one of these numbers..) and ask for the price. I just happened to call up to inquire about the price of 6255 and i got a quote of 15349.. I think this would be a better deal

Found one guy in Heera Panna giving me the 3205 for Rs. 7,500. That's the lowest I've got, if I don't consider the Rs. 7,000-only price tag that one local dealer "accidentally" gave away. Turns out that it was his dealer price, and he was only willing to let it go for Rs. 8,000. Yeah, right.

So.. 7,000 anyone? I'll buy it for that price. Only if I'm unable to find a better rate by the end of this month, I guess I may pick it up for 7,500 also.
