Hi, I'm having problems updating the firmware for my K750i. I've downloaded and installed the Update Service USB driver once but the first time I attempted updating, I had to stop halfway through the process. Ever since, I've been trying to update the firmware but it stops after the update software completes installation and nothing happens after that. Do I need to remove all the drivers from my system and perform a fresh installation? How do I do that? I've also installed the latest Java as well. Pls help...

I managed to install the flash driver and proceeded with the procedures, but after the SEUS update software finished installing, nothing happened. I waited for 5-10 minutes and there was no activity. When I checked the Java Console, I saw that it kept generating the below over and over.. Can someone pls help me out with this?

@daniel, if you terminated the firmware update halfway through, the problem could be that you have a corrupted update. In any case... maybe you want to bring it to the SE Service Centre for a check.

Make sure you have downloaded the Update Service USB Driver. This driver is not found on the CD but must be obtained from the SE website. When Windows prompts you for the driver , during the press 'c' process, this is the driver you should point Windows to.

Thanx for the advice. I actually terminated the process while it was still downloading the SEUS software. I terminated 'coz I was using a very slow dialup connection at home, so I thot I'd try it in the office. Terminating during the SEUS software download shouldn't cause any corruption to the firmware right? I really hope not!
BTW, my office connection is using proxy setting, could this be the cause?

I performed an update on my phone using a dial-uo connection and it was succesful.... so I don't think that's the reason for a failed update. Anyway, you just have to be REALLY patient for it takes a lot of time.
