Im upgrading early on orange and getting a k750i. I just have a few questions.

its out of stock at the moment for upgrades. Does anyon know if it has ever been in stock? And if it has how long should stock take roughly?

What should come in the box?

How bad is the branding?

Are there any limitations on the orange handsets? (like voda handsets dont play mp3's properly.

How much will a 1gb memory stick cost roughly?

And does anyone wanna buy an s700i for 130 pounds before i shove it on ebay lol.

In the box, you should get a USB cable, charger, phone, battery, SIM, 64MB memory stick and software.

The Orange branding isn't the worst but it's far from the best. They messed up with the K700 branding in a few areas anyway like the shortcuts. I've not tried the Orange branded K750.

A 1GB memory stick will set you back about £70.

There don't appear to be any significant limitations, unlike Voda. The File Manager appears as Media Album, making you think that the File Manager function isn't there at first glance.

No, I think that desktop nonsense that was on the Orange k700 has not been implemented on the 750i.
mp3 ringers etc all o.k on Orange...the only issue is the horrid menu icons. Could have been a lot lot worse!!

I disagree, mini golf was great.

Fast action games dont work well because the phone keypad just isnt up to the task.

It has to be the right sort of game, puzzle games etc so that it doesnt matter about the poor keypad control.

Well,

I've had an Orange K750i since about late June and after upgrading the firmware to the latest version I'm very happy with it.

One minor point is that the highlight for the icons either side of the centre line is slightly moved over to the left. Someone messed up there!

Doesn't really bother me much though.

I've got a 1GB stick too. Use it for backups and the odd MP3 album for listening to at work.

Stock wise they are in and out of stock quite quickly.

I managed to get a good bargain out of them. 200 mins & 500 texts for £30pm. I told my mate and he went one further and blagged a free Bluetooth headset too as O2 were offering them at that time.

I'd phone up and upgrade. They will usually tell you they can't do that tarriff but keep at it, say you want to get a PAC and they will give u what u want within reason!

I'm now a very happy Orange customer!

PS. Have a flick here about the branding http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=93102&start=0
