Is that possible in a software update or does it require a hardware update ?

All I miss in T68i is JAVA, more memory and Poly. Ringtones.

@jnx:
For what I know, it's impossible to have java Apps in T68i. I made the same question one month a go. And the people told me that was not possible for the momment. I hope that in future versions (September / October) this could be solved.

About the polyphonic ringtones (I miss also), its impossible due to hardware limitations.

What i also miss is more color in T68i, There was rumored about a version that makes the T68i to have 4096 colors, but... this was a rumor, not a fact.

I hope that have helped you,

Yours sincerisly,

technically you can have java on the T68i. the 6310i has a miniscule 200K available for java, with no more that 30K for each java app. so with the T68i's 1MB memory it can be SQUEEZED in there. but would sony ericsson compromise the other features, such as MMS, which this phone is made for?

@arnold
it'd be nice if users has the option of choosing between the two: mms or java

I'd prefer Java.

I don't use MMS, and I don't exactly know anyone that would use MMS.
