I'm using the beta of the new Windows OS, Vista. The only problem with it is that I can't install Sony Ericsson PC Link 1.7.7... The problem appears when setup is installing MDAC 2.7 SP1. I have installed it seperetaly as well, but the error still appears.

I have tried compability mode XP, but that didn't help eighter.

Does anyone have the same problem, or an solution?

Do you have SP2 or any other third party software installed?

This isn't on Windows XP, it's on Windows Vista beta 1.

Well, I have installed it manually (MDAC that is), without an error. The strange this is that I've talked to another guy with Vista, and it worked fine for him.
