I wish I had found you before Multiserver, they haven't been very forthcoming in response to my pleas for help. I purchased a credit from them to unlock my K700i and inadvertantly selected the recover phone option in the software, the instructions are not exactly crystal clear. Things happened and then I was told that I then needed to Flash the phone. I didn't, for fear of causing more damage. The phone will not now respond at all to the on button. I have tried flashing the phone since but when requested to press the on button, nothing happens. The T28 cable did work initially so I assume it is still ok, the battery is fully charged. Does this mean that I have done something irreprable to the phone or can it be fixed? please help. I live in Spain and finding a sony ericsson repair facility is difficult.

have you tried removiing the battery and replacing it? you cannot attually break the phone, you just need to re-flash the firmware.

Thanks Jagger but yes I have tried removing the battery, no joy. New development, I can now get the flash to start but it stops at about 30% saying that the battery is discharged. I have checked the battery and it appears to be charged ok. Canīt find anyone near me with an SE phone to double check/charge the battery
