k700 Corrupted memory (firmware) please help |

Help My k700 is corrupted, i noticed last night mp3 tones we not sounding correct. I copied some of these back to my pc and these have slightly corrupted.
While trying to do a cleanup my phone reset itself a couple of times. I decided to do a reset and master reset, but all my settings a data files were still present afterwards.
I would like a way to flash all the internal memory is there any way to do this or even get the reset options working?
I flashed my phone with R2AY004 just after it was available on SUES a few weeks ago.

Ok phone did a master reset ok i had to switch off and back on again.
I have also niticed the startup animation (is this replaced with a sues firmware flash?) is a little curropted as well. What would have caused these problems? Could it be a bad firmware flash?
What option do i have now are you able to reflash via SUES (i ask as i have left my sync station at work so can't test until tomorrow). |

Ok beginning to suspect the fault was a bad firmware flash CyberVisitor has posted a few times. mySEUSlog.log has some errors in it, however i got two of these errors in my feb flash, and that was ok.
Can anyone advice me if the problem with the phone will get worse? Apart from several curropted ringtones and the startup animation the phone is fine at the moment. I have done the full reset and placed good versions of the ringtones and themes back on the phone. Will i be ok, or is there a chance these will be curropted again.
As for fixing the fault, my nearest update centre is about an hour away (dam i was around the corner from them yesterday), and they just use a website to update the phone, so not sure if they will be able to do a full reflash.
Will flashing using DaVinci fix the problem? Has anyone fixed their phone this way?

Since flashing using DaVinci reinstalls a complete and new firmware (i.e. not updating the old as SEUS does), you can be sure it solves all problems caused by SEUS.
As always I highly recommend DaVinci. |
