Will a Vodafone 3g V600 take regular 2.5g sims?

I used an old sim on one, as old as wap didn't exist yet. And video calls worked perfectly.

That's like saying I could put my old Genie sim in one and get video calls to work on a 3G network. But they won't because I don't subscribe to a 3G tariff. Although 3G services are coming with new SIMs it's got to be based on what you subscribe to surely?

The question was if an old sim would work.
Not if the service is activated.
But may I add that i had to do nothing to get video calls.
Just put the sim on the phone and voilá. [addsig]
