Please help, my K700 battery is STUFFED!!!

R2L001 FW...

Do I need new firmware, new battery or a whole new phone???

Talktime is less than 30 min, Standby is 5-8 Hrs!!!!

Please help...

Sounds to me like your battery needs replacing. Do you have MyPhoneExplorer? It has a phone monitor which would give you a good indication of the battery and charging performance.

Upgrade to R2AE....or the newest fw version there....R2AE and versions after that are reported to have resolved the battery life issue on the k700

da battery fing happened to me but if u dont use a screen saver the batery lasts longer
im cool but hot all at the same time

This sounds like more than the usual K700 poor battery performance.
It could be a stuffed battery, or a faulty charger, or...
MPE Moniter will at least show the charge rate and battery performance.
