Hi,
For some strange reason i do not receive any delivery reports when I send an SMS, although i do have the function activated from
Messaging>Settings>Text Message>Delivery Report>On
My messages definetly go through (as i get replies) but i get no report and if i click "More>view status" it will say "Not received".
Has anyone else had any similar problems? or know if i am doing something dumb. |

Hi Ridduk..
Sometimes the Network at the other end does not let the Confirmation come thru..
Is it a reccuring problem ?
Which Ops (and location) you with ?
Your Settings are just fine.. Dun Worry..

Thanks for the reply. Yes I am on the 02 UK online 50 plan, it is a good deal with 500 texts a month, 50 anyone anytime minutes and 1mb of wap allowance.
Some of my friends have the same plan but on different phones, and they can receive the reports, do you think I should contact 02? |

okay theres an issue with o2 uk and I think only sony ericsson phones - they do not support the delivery messages in the way se implement them into the phone - i'm guessing your friends on the same price plan do not have sony ericsson phones?
the only way to way receive delivery messages on o2 using a sony ericsson phone is to put *0# infront of each and every message you send - it will be quicker if you set that up as a template so you don't have to type that in every time!
