Hi, I hope somebody here can help me.

I have a Pay as you go K500i. After each use of the phone (call or text) I get a screen come up that tells me how much credit I have left on the phone. This is useful, the only problem is, that it is accompanied with the message alert sound & if I haven't thought to turn the sound off before I use the phone it can be very annoying.

Is there any way of just turning this sound off, without having to turn the sound for the whole phone off? Or even turning off the whole screen?

Thanks for any help anybody can give me.

Welcome to Esato
What network in what country are you on? The message is network based so to get rid of it you should contact your network.

Its not firmware related. The network send the message as a flash message. Why do some people think that a firmware upgrade will solve all problems?
The network can stop sending the message if you ask them to.
