Help on Nokia 6260 - sms problem |

Hi...I got my 6260 in Jan 2005. I have been getting this error message on my 6260:'Message Sending failed' since about a month ago when trying to send text messages. If I press Details: it says General: Memory full. Close some applications and try again. While I have not actually got any other applications open and there are still >4000kb of memory left on my phone. For a while I have just been turning it off and on again to get it to send, but since a week ago that trick does not seem to work. Is anybody else experiencing the same problem?? how can i fix this?

Have you checked your sms center no?It might be wrong.It's just similar solution which i got for 6630 for same problem.I also faced same problem,for which re entering the Center no. helped me.You will find it in your settings for messages. |

I have checked the sms centre no. and it seems to be correct.
So i went down to a vodafone outlet today and it turns out that i just need a simple sim card upgrade!
problem is now solved..
