I have been talking to someone on Ebay who is offering a motorola V1150 (V3x) claiming he has 10 demo models. He wants £100 and will only take payment through western union. I realy want this phone and for £100 i want it even more. So i was wondering if anyone knew if it is actually possible for this guy to have got hold of demo models or if it is just a scam.

Be very wary of such offers on ebay unless you can meet the person to pick up the phone in person. [addsig]

but it's so tempting. I've told him to send me a picture with some proof of the date in it. He claims to be in Italy so thats the best thing i could think of.

Well Western Union, cheaply priced products(especially phones) and Ebay do not go well together so best to stay away.

I checked that, it was mainly sales of electrical tools. After telling him I wanted pictures he hasn't replied. These scams are really annoying. I found www.e-storeworld.com aswell which looked tempting, but, of course, is one big lie
