I really want an excuse to buy this phone, so can someone put me out of my misery and confirm that it doesnt support flash lite. If it doesnt I can forget about it 
If any w800 owner could go to the below link and let me know if they see the content i would be really grateful:

i tried it with my w750i(converted k750i with w800i firmware  ) and it shows a black page with a "this is a swf" text scrolling down. is that wats supposed to happen? hope this helps

Doesn't work on my normal K750i.

ah thats what happens if it supports flash lite
that would be great news ...please be true 
i know the original 750i doesnt support flash lite - having bought and then returned one
does the w800i firmware have any flash files in the pictures folder? Like sunny beach?

can't find any on my predefined items....maybe you could link a pic, that kind of file, and id gladly try sending it to my phone to see what happens(if it would show up or not). btw, this is a converted k750i to w800i firmware and not an actual w800i(just remindin you guys  )

thats great, just how it should look .... means it should work as wallpaper and screensaver too
just PM'd u a test file if you dont mind
Thats evidence enough that w800i will ship with it too no?
If its supported in the w800 firmare then ....the w800 will support too.

hehe yeah ....its meant to be a football - its an old test file
so you can select 'more' and then use as > wallpaper or screensaver?

yep....theres an option for it to be the wallpaper and screensaver. i'm glad to be of help
btw, i just noticed, in thumbnail view, its shown as a flash icon. circle with the 'f' styled font in grey..

yeah the thumbnail thing is normal - same on the z800, v600 etc
Its just because the Flash player would have to actually run the file to be able to produce any kind of display.

hey, i got a 2nd hand w800i with updated firmware R1AA008. i bought it because of its flash lite capability yet it cant open swf files. what can i do. some forums say that the said update cant play swf files. how can i roll it back to the original firmware? i tested a friends w8 wi the orig firmware and it works like a charm.. |

Tried it on my W800i with R1AA008 and it doesnt work either. Looks like SE took out support for swf files.
