So we arrived at 6pm in Middelburg, about 300plus km from Port Elizabeth, to attend the funeral of a friend. Drove thru the most spectacular storm just outside Cradock. Mrs.K amused me by doing her level (unsuccessful) best to capture lightning on her phone. It's flipping hot here, a pleasant 29 degrees at the moment, with a promise of 36 tomorrow
I'm not superstitious, merely mildly stitious.

Long time no post. Been heck busy.

Got a crapload to say. Start with the pics. Wanqa, beautiful!all of them!

The phone, i suppose i would choose the w950i if i could get it without selling my liver:) hehe! The p990 is great as well, but i think of it more as a pda. And 4 gigs...one thing i would like to find out though is how fast the transfer speed to the phone is. I used to use my cable, but it is so slow, especially when you are copying movies or tv shows onto your phone. I take out my memory card and use a card reader, lots, and i mean lots faster. Slow copies grind me wrong.

The lottery letter, i get about 7 in my email a week. To date i think i have won over half a billon pounds...great, isn't it? Hehe! The catch though is you always have to send 500 pounds for admin or something. Really, if you won 50million pounds, surely they can take it from that, cant they?

Hard copy spam is brilliant, since people think, post, must be real. Its just the wolf in modern transvestite clothing...sneaky:)

So yeah, we just had quite the episode in front of our neighbours house. A bunch of motherfunkers showed up, one girl in the car an ex fiance of someone. I was sitting outside as usual. I just saw one girl running away from the one funker from the car. Big fighting between them, and some mild brawling at the cars, one of the other funkers hitting my friend handsomes brother. I tried to capture some footage, but it was dark. Eventually i went to the scene, and handsome has come out and decked the one guy for slapping his brother. These guys by this time have already ripped a mirror from a car standing there. They were drunk, shirtless, and something that sounds like shirtless without a 'r'. At this point all our homies were telling these oaks to duck off...a couple of punches, girls all worried, and a really tense situation. So they get back in the car and start to try to hit handsome, almost got him twice. Little light, but i got a bad video clip of it all. Eventually they drove off.

The one guy said he cannot respect a kaffer, and i said to him i cannot respect white trash like him. Bunch of numbnuts coming to our neighbourhood disturbing the peace, drunk freaks! One thing though, i know these oaks here will fight if they have to. And you dont insult my brother.

Just shows, trash comes in all colours, as if we dont know that already, which brings me to this:

I was quite happy to see the crowd at the trial of that rapist/murderer of that young girl. They wanted him dead, and a guy that does that to a little girl of what, 7, 8? Does he deserve better? That is one sick prick. Whole bunch of music celebrities there today as well. Chaps, the people of this country is getting fed up with crime. The governments plans better show results else i think we will see a lot of rogue justice rearing its head, and it wont be pretty. It need not come to that. These guys tonight would have had their asses kicked and way more dents in their car if they did not leave.

They got the car kicked a couple of times in the process of trying to hit everyone. I was so tempted to get in on the action. As far as i am concerned, peace till war breaks out, then i will get violent.

About tipping, i used to be a waiter...yep, here it comes. Had some pretty crappy tips after some huge tables. Reason, not bad service, just the last guy not having money and after a bill of over a thousand bucks, when everyone has left, he leaves, and the tip covers him. It is bull. You dont waiter for the fun. It is a job. Ultimately it is a couple of pricks who ruin it for everyone.

My favourite place to eat, boabab, if you are more than 8 people they automatically add the 10%. I like that, and it is classy, so why not. That way the waiters dont get screwed over. If you dont wanna tip, kfc and macd's around the corner. Hotels.no comment.

The no tipping thing is a huge black thing i must say. I learned that pretty early from handsome. He is better now, just the car guards get his wrath now:)

The best cure for black people from the tipping thing is to waiter. The day your income is dependent on that, it solves it. Made a lot of friends with black waiter girls from neighbouring coffee shops and boy, never had a problem with them tipping. Then back in my barman days some nights would be white people, and some nights black parties. This is the result, and i am not lying. 8 white people at the bar from 1-4am.around 60bucks i made. The one night there was a black party, more than 200 people, from 8-4am. Tip total: R2.85c. So, yeah, it is cultural. Two things need to be said-white people have it in their background, lots of them waitered at one stage, so yep. Black people didn't so i do understand where they come from. But i do need to add this: my best tip ever was from a black lady. Ordered take aways. 70 bucks.gave me 30 bucks4ordering it and bringing the boxes maybe 10metres. Worst clients have definately been whites.

Sorry that i bring in the black and white thing, but this is what i've learned.

The best teacher is personal experience, be your personal experience in a box and incorrect, it is still your perception about the situation, and your conclusion.

Okay, that is my posts, enough for a week, but hopefully not the last for the week:)

Have a great weekend guys! Hope i did not offend anyone tonight, just a lot of adrenaline pumping through my veins right now after the incident.

Help Handsome? Hehe! I am talking about a guy who along with his older brother has tracked a guy who broke into their house, took him to the bathroom and beat the living ship out of the oak:) hehe! I was not filming the whole incident. Only had my phone out when the guys were in the car. Would have been silly to be snapping pics then as it would have pissed them off. The car incident was one of those stay out of the way things, and handsome just stood at a stupid spot shaking his fist and not behind or close to something that could cause the car serious harm like everyone else. If anyone else moved in, everyone else would have been hit. I have thought the whole thing over, and things could have been a lot worse if anyone tried to play hero. Handsome is a rugged rugby player, and small, but built. He can move like lightning. I would not have been as lucky as he was in the situation. He can dodge guys storming him, car, no problem. I just tried to get some visuals on the car in case legal action is needed.

In a fight i am the peacemaker, the guy who goes in between and tries to break it up, then the bad guy tries to hit, hit me, then everyone else has to pull me off the guy...hehe!

I have been in a situation where we caught a house breaker. He got a knife and i grabbed him from behind and tried to get him to drop it. The house owner got cut trying to disarm him, but then came with a pot, i also got bashed a couple of times on my hand in that process, this with at least two other guys around doing nothing to help really. The guy got 30 years, was wanted for rape as well. The house we were in was a commune, lots of girls there...

Question-how would you react in situations like these? Any thoughts? That is where a guy really starts figuring out who he really is. Nothing like a life threatening situation to bring out the real you, and make you feel the blood pumping in your veins, makes you know that you are alive.

Okay, that is it!hehe!

People can be so irresponsible! And right now i am powerless to do anything about it. Two chicks emerged from the house in front of where the fight was. I lured them in for a smoke and pumped them for info about the situation. The one girl was a friend of the girl that these guys were after. They ran off and hid a few blocks away while we were dealing with the shipheads. Now these chicks are also drunk as they come out and the one just started walking home. It is not a safe area. I cannot give her a lift without causing hectic shiv, and her husband(yep, scummy to the 9th level) is too pissy(not sloshed) to come fetch her. The friend next door told me she is 17, living with the people next door, and her parents that neglected her badly(she lives 17km from school, would not come fetch her till like 11at night.) We live in a wonderful world, but sometimes it can be so screwed up. We can really count ourselves lucky.
