@Dups!
you described exactly the phone I am waiting for... been completly torn whether to get X10 or not because of the lack of Qwerty. Like the way SE is going but really need them to make a High end business phone which is none symbian. Aspen just doesn't do it for me design wise and screen size. Have the X1 one for over a year but still really miss my P1.
Please SE give me what I need Anybody any infos on such a device?
Sometimes I even think about the p910... especially the form factor, how would it look nowadays, thin, big excellent screen, Qwerty... Am just so bored with all current phone designs its just more of the same. Want something that WOWs me. Now that you are Profitable again SE go back to being innovative!!! Create something that really turns heads!
p.s sorry for the off topic jibba jabba, but seriosly want a new phone and no manufacturer has what I need...

That is what I'm waiting for from SE and I can't buy anything else cause, like you, I don't feel the current phones and their similar designs. I still have a perfectly working P910i in excellent condition and it still makes me go wow.
Got an idea, how about we send SE a petition to demand a P1 android phone I described? .
Better yet, how about I go work in the design department for SE as an advisor as to what the public out there wants?

Do you think that are developing a superior JAVA platform ?
LG & SAMSUNG for example have created a SMART look platform couple years ago
I have that feeling want to drop Symbian and use that smarter new JAVA platform
It is just an imagination .. |

I know the feeling, i myself bouth a 2nd hand P1i. The cellphone market is dead, its soul is gone. When SE stop working on UIQ, it all died. SE management that made the wrong decisions, the iphone that many see as the birth of a smart phones. Their is nothing good on the market, lots of phones, none have a soul or a wow feeling.
back to topic i gues

^I think SE should buy WebOS to avoid legal and software problems on multi-touch functions and to get more share in US market. I have seen WebOS videos on youtube.com and I think it a very promising platform. It has an eye candy interface that looks better that Andorid Vanilla. WebOS also supports silverlight, and later on this year, Adobe Flash 10. Imagine SE incorporating their ideas and technology with the WebOS to form a device with a unique and powerful software, it would be hard to beat. |

I take it the picture is a rendering cause it looks uglier than the ugly Vivaz to me.
This is supposed to be 'sleek and more beautiful' than the Vivaz.

Not a chance that that is real. Just look at the buttons, so little detail that it must be a crappy photoshop.

They should release a true successor to the W995. The W995 is going strong in all fronts and will probably do SE good to keep up the good name of the W995 and offer a non-touch walkman with 12 mp cam and all the bells and whistles to make it a bestseller. |

I have to agree with the idea of a successor to the W995. It would sell well.
