No, because 12MP sells better and is more hyped. Look at Moto ZN5, that one is maybe even better then the 8MP phones if you stretch the pics to 8MP and still no-one gives a damn about it.

I think the real problem with the ZN5, is that it's a motorola

True, but I think that if SE, Samsung or Nokia released such a phone, it won't be verry popular either. At least not as popular as the 8mp ones.

A competitor to the N99, you ask? Well, I don't know...

On a side note, how will Nokia be naming its future Nseries flagships? N100? N99 classic?

Like and the P990 to the P1? Maybe the N1?

Does the Nokia make you nervous at all or are you confident that will steal the show?

Hey guy's. What are the chances of Nokia or SE launching a touch screen only phone with a 5mpx camera the same size as the G900? With Windows mobile or Symbian? I see the rumours of the X2 and X5 SE but the front page has no specs.
I love the G900 but the damn pen keeps falling out LOL, so it's time to ditch the pen, but I use Tom Tom satnav hence why I need Sybian or Windows ME.
And I do NOT want an HTC phone as the cameras are not as good and the X1 is too big and buggy.

Anyone know?

Hmmm, looking at it, are SE making anything to compete with the Nokia 5800 (Tube) but with a 5mpx camera? Has anyone played with the 5800? Is it any good? Still doesn't fit into the size criteria but it is cheapish and a smarty phone.

So true. I've hardly updated the first post in the last week. And to be honest, the information I've been gathering on the first post doesn't seem all that exciting.

I hope that MWC brings better things than what we have rumoured, otherwise t will be a poor showing, in my opinion.

I've already tried. It's snappy and very nice crisp screen resolution!!! Even if it has all plastic materials, it still has nice build feeling as i hold it. but it's kinda lag at some apps like the bouncer game. The sound is very superb! But the camera is not that good. Overall it's good especially for a music lover. But for me it's not really because of the camera that's why i'm thinking of buying the omnia for a change if the price will fall under my budget before april. If not maybe i have no choice but to go for 5800. :| hehehe

Thanks teeboy. Hmmm, that's what I'm thinking about is the camera, I won't use it for music but it has enough other media functions to keep me happy. I don't want Windows Mobile cause it looks so old once you get under the skins. And Android doesn't have many apps for it. So if SE don't launch anything with a decent camera, I may have to get it!! The N97 is too big and expensive plus I don't want a qwerty. Come on SE, make me happy!

I give SE the last chance. If they don't show on MWC a new phone with wifi, 3.5 jack and autofocus+flash camera, I will Innov8. I've been waiting a long time for a good SE phone, maybe it's time to switch to Samsung.

No way. Fastport is an uber-sh***y solution for listening to music. 3.5 jack is a must for me.

I just want to ask why do you guys hate fast port? I mean would you rather have one port that can act as a shortcut for usb headphones and charging or one small tiny hole and then another large hole for the rest of that stuff. Unless of course the quality changes but hell what do i know i find it to cluttered if they were to have both.

Actually I miss fastport, it was a very solid and robust.
Now I have this mini-usb for charging which seems like falling apart if I hold the phone. The only gain is unification.
3.5jack does not matter, you can simply aply any headset to a fastport-jack switch.
