that's a typo. hehehe.
The keyboard has been around for a while. It's a universal keyboard that uses IR technology so any device with IR will work with it. All you need is a driver. Before, it works with Palms and Pocket PC's. They recently released a driver for the P800 as well as Nokia series 60 phones. They would just release a new driver if a new device comes along. So if you buy the keyboard and eventually get rid of your p800, u can still use it on a P900, palm or pocket pc. |

It seems that the P800 group being created dun sa GB3 booth is as "unofficial" as our SE group here. I checked SE SS and they didnt know regarding the booth. And the phones for sale are from Semicon. Maybe a marketting strategy from SEMICON itself? That database can be a very good list for potential buyers of future version of P8x or Px's...
BTW, they're giving a free CD "P800 fun pack" containing free java games.

whats this P800 group all about?
isn't it supposed to be open to all P8 owners?
like we already have one here in esato...
maybe we/they should coordinate to make a collective group...

Just curious, can a P800 connect to a nokia phone via infrared? i was trying to send an audio file to a Nokia 6610 using infrared buy somehow the two phones cannot connect.... |

nokias are quite selfish phones.
They dont even have the option to send pics and audio through IR. whey want you to result to MMS and pay the networks...
That's why the networks love 'em.

@cserrano
nokia 6610, 6100, 7210, 7250 have crippled IR. The port will not initialize communications with non-Nokias.

nokia and se has diffrent firmware thats why incompatible when sending thru ir, but seems to connect in some models...(eg. P800 and 7650) maybe because of symbian os
