Are 100% sure that these photos are shot from a K850? Can it be prooved?
The EXIF data doesn't say anything about device these pictures were taken from.
I am not so sure tha these pictures are from K850. But hope they are... |

5.18 mm according to the EXIF data from prototype photos so far. Havent seen anything different yet. |

So what ur saying is the k850 has the same focal length as k800 but larger resolution.., .., aint that gonna influence the quality of the pics?

Only if the sensor size is same (not sure if the focal length alone is enough to determine that).

Focal length is the point where light passing through the lens converges. Roughly the distance from the back lens of your phone to the sensor. When you think that the K850 is 17mm this focal length does not look so small.
No idea how the focal length could affect image quality, I thought the sensor size and its capability in low light dictated image quality.
Hardware wise the camera module should be the same as K810 (except the higher resolution) according to Eldar. So unless SE can squeeze out something better on the software side the pictures will be just larger versions of the 3.2MP ones (which is not bad at all). |
